Creating and distilling lovely gin and the many activities this entails, including the demanding task of tasting each batch to ensure the excellent Gin Kitchen quality is maintained.
What do you do at the Gin Kitchen?
The team of lovely people, the freedom to be creative and drinking a G&T rather than tea in tea breaks.
What do you like about working at the Gin Kitchen?
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
Looking after honey bees that forage on the beautiful wildflowers and tree blossom of Ranmore Common. Their honey is sold in the Gin Kitchen shop. I also love the outdoors; exploring the beautiful scenery of the mole valley and beyond with my husband and of course sampling the odd gin along the way.
Favourite Gin Kitchen Spirit:
I love them all, but if pushed The Ginger Cat closely followed by Dancing Dragontail.
I live by the motto "Seize the day", which has led to some interesting experiences - refusing elephant tusks offered by a tribe chief in Cameroon to agreeing to walk and tackling the 2,200 mile Appalachian Trail in the USA. Life is an adventure!
