Friends call me Mike except my mum.
I’ve been a chef for over 20 years. Working in many sectors of the catering industry from 5 star hotels to rosette restaurants working along side some great chefs trying to achieve many accolades. Along the way I’ve met loads of celebrities Gordon Ramsey, Michel Roux, Jamie Oliver, Paul A young (chocolatier not the singer) and Ruth Hinks only naming a few.
I've worked in all areas of the kitchen creating wonderful foods from every part of the world and enjoyed every minute of it. As a chef you find out that every day is never the same and it keeps you on your toes and that way you never get board. And I love every minute of it. I've worked in all areas, but for me I fell in love with patisserie (pastry for short). I love how you can create something beautiful from a few basic ingredients.
Now I’ve joined the wonderful team at the Gin kitchen, as Head Chef to give the taste of the world through food and Gin and create balance between them both. Hope to see you soon.
