Private Venue Hire in Surrey
Based in the Surrey Hills, with fabulous scenery surrounding us is our private venue for hire. The whole of the Gin Kitchen or The Calf Shed (pictured above) can be hired for hen parties, birthdays, anniversaries, weddings or corporate events etc.
About The Venue for Hire
Our artisan distillery, the beating heart of The Gin Kitchen, is in a 170 year old barn on the outskirts of Dorking, Surrey. On-site we have a fabulous cocktail bar and tapas restaurant.
Our award-winning gin is supplied to the world's top luxury stores, premium five star hotels, Michelin starred restaurants, independent bars and wine and spirit merchants who share the same passion for exclusive fresh, rich and smooth spirits.
Venue Hire Options & Capacity
Private Gin Tastings
We hold these in either the Calf Shed or the Orangery. For private gin tastings, there is a set fee of £300 for up to 6 people.
At your private gin tasting you will taste each one of our vibrant and characterful gins while discovering more about the botanicals we carefully source from around the globe. We'll share with you our story, product development, how the business has grown from strength to strength and talk about some of the exciting collaborations we have with other local businesses.
Sip your favourite G&T combination during a tour of the working side of our distillery where we'll talk you through the processes we follow to create our luxury hand-crafted spirits.
The event itself will last between 1-1.5 hours, the bar will remain open if you fancy having another drink or two.
The Calf Shed
The Calf Shed can accommodate up to 30 standing or 20 seated. We will also provide a dedicated bartender.
Gin Kitchen
The whole venue can accommodate 90 guests standing and 50 seated. Up to 200 guests can be accommodated with an optional marquee.

Location
Our private venue to hire is based in the Surrey Hills in the beautiful countryside on a farm setting. The nearest town is Dorking and the train station is only 2 mile away with a 5 minute taxi journey.

How it works
To reserve the Calf Shed or whole venue, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required.
We will send you an invoice.
2 weeks prior to the event, the balance of the minimum spend is required to secure your date.
We will send you a second invoice.
If the spend exceeds the minimum spend, the balance will due on the day of the event.

An optional service charge of 10% will be added to the final bill.

If more than 100 guests we can arrange a marquee at an additional cost.
