Gin Kitchen is a luxury spirits brand with an artisan distillery and showcase cocktail bar. We produce the finest gin on the planet and aim to be the best at everything we do. This includes our hospitality and front of house activities which include a cocktail bar, tapas restaurant and a range of experiences from gin tastings to bottomless brunch. We are generally booked months in advance and wish to provide nothing short of 5* service to every guest. The cocktails our bar team make are world class and our spirits take pride of place in the best luxury stores throughout the world.

Server

Job responsibilities
Greeting guests
Taking orders
Serving food and drink
Clearing tables
Making cocktails
Glass washing and polishing
Job requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
Excellent attention to detail to ensure every aspect of our guest experience is perfect.
Clear and concise communication skills and an excellent phone manner.
An understanding that the best customer experience is personal, authentic, timely, consistent & effortless.
Must be customer focused with a hands-on approach. You have great ideas, are self motivated and have a good eye for detail.
A warm and outgoing personality is essential, and hospitality experience is helpful but not a prerequisite as training will be provided.
Shifts
We have 6 or 12 hour shifts on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Distillery Host

Job requirements
A knowledge of distilling is not essential as full training will be given. Being confident at public speaking, enjoying engaging with guests, and being passionate about gin are prerequisites.
Job responsibilities
Tasting events last around 2 hours and generally take place at the weekend. There may be 2-3 tastings on some days. Time is also needed before and after for setting up and clearing away.

Assistant Bar Manager

Job description
As the ideal candidate, you will have solid experience in bar/restaurant/front of house leadership and will ideally hold a personal licence as well as having a high level of attention to detail and a passion for great guest experience and service.
You will take a proactive and proud approach to managing the bar and restaurant and be up for the challenge of achieving industry recognition and awards.
You will support the bar manager in leading a team of hospitality staff, ensuring that the front-of-house is fully staffed and creating a welcoming environment for our guests.
Job responsibilities
The ideal candiate will:
Ensure the efficient and professional running of the hospitality operations of the Gin Kitchen's bars and restaurant.
Ensure the comfort and enjoyment of guests by supervising and controlling factors including:
Ambience and atmosphere.
Condition and cleanliness of the venue.
Staff presentation and demeanour.
Quality of beverages and service provided.
Ensuring compliance with applicable legislation and regulations.
Stand in for the Bar Manager when required
Manage gin experiences at the GK venue such as bottomless brunches, tasting experiences, cocktail masterclasses.
Manage table reservations and ticketing systems.
