COVID-19 Secure

We take the safety of our guests and team very seriously. We also believe in maintaining an excellent customer experience whatever is happening in the world.

Throughout the pandemic we have remained open. Despite disruption to world trade, we have had no interruption to or drop in quality of our product lines. We've managed increased demand as well as bringing out new products such as hand sanitiser and takeaway boxes. When official guidance was not provided we continuously updated our own risk assessment and modified our procedures to mitigate the evolving threat.  Our staff juggled self-isolation, home-working and childcare, and the business made a net tax contribution to the economy. We recruited more staff and are proud to have supported the brave front-line workers in charities, care homes, hospitals and the armed forces.

We are fortunate and privileged to work with customers and suppliers who also stepped up to the plate, adapted and worked hard behind the scenes to maintain their service.

We have a regularly updated risk assessment and our staff are trained to keep guests safe.

We're following COVID-19 Secure guidance. The rules are different if you are coming for a drink, a tasting or to shop.

We offer a drive-through service for people who wish to maintain a higher level of physical distancing. Hand Sanitiser

Following requests from care workers, hospitals and our customers, we petitioned HMRC for permission to use our alcohol to make the hand rub formulation recommended by the World Health Organisation. HMRC have now granted all licenced distilleries this permission. Our handrub is based on the WHO-recommended formulation. It contains 80% ethanol, an emollient to protect skin against dryness and dermatitis and of course a hint of our botanicals to give clean hands a delicate fragrance. The price just covers our costs. Our hand rub is available in 150ml bottles and 500ml refills. It can be ordered online or from our distillery shop. Contact us for more information and for healthcare and business orders.

Front-line Workers

We offer a 10% discount to nhs and front-line workers. We also offer our alcohol sanitiser at a price that just covers our costs.
