Event Cancellation Policy

Gin Kitchen events are run by a hard-working team including parents and event cancellations really affect our business and families, therefore our cancellation policy is as follows:

Cocktail Masterclasses, Gin Tasting Experiences & Gin Distilling Experiences can be booked in advance by phone, web or email. Full payment for the event is required in advance. If you have to cancel, payment is refundable up to 48 hours before the event or we will try to reschedule the event subject to availability. Cancellations after 48-hours will not be refunded.

Bottomless Brunch can be booked in advance by phone, web or email. Full payment for the event is required in advance. If you have to cancel, payment is refundable up to 1 week before the event or we will try to reschedule the event subject to availability. Cancellations after 1 week will not be refunded.

Golden tickets are vouchers for a specific type of event and number of guests. They may be purchased and gifted and may be redeemed for an event. If the event is for a private experience, we will accommodate your preferred date and time subject to availability. The same 48-hour cancellation policy applies when an event has been booked using a golden ticket.

All our gin experiences and the gin & cocktail bar are COVID-19 Secure.  In the event you have to self-isolate or the event is otherwise disrupted due to COVID-19, we will reschedule your experience for a future date.

We will do our absolute best to honour times and dates arranged in advance, however from time to time we may have to cancel due to factors such as staff illness. If we have to cancel we will refund the full value of your event or arrange another date with you.

We may contact you by email before an event to help you prepare, or shortly after an event to ask you for feedback on your experience.

Gin Kitchen Ltd cannot accept responsibility or pay any compensation where the event is prevented or affected by reason of circumstances which amount to “force majeure”. Circumstances amounting to “force majeure” include any event which we could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. Such circumstances include the destruction or damage of the distillery which cannot reasonably be remedied to a satisfactory standard before the start of your event through fire, flood, explosion, storm or other weather damage, break-in, criminal damage, riots or civil strife, industrial action, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, war or threat of war, actual or threatened terrorist activity, epidemic and all similar situations beyond our control. It is explicitly agreed that an event of force majeure suspends execution of the reciprocal obligations for the parties, and that each party shall pay the expenses resulting therefrom.
